During the events of the original Black Ops, he and Alex Mason tracked down a crashed plane filled with Nova 6 gas deep in Laos, only to be captured and held as a POW until his eventual escape in 1972. Twelve years later, Woods returns to Laos with NATO’s finest to handle another crisis. Russell Adler has been abducted after his fateful re-encounter with Stitch following a massive firefight in the abandoned Twin Pines Mall.
