Here I do a tasting of some traditional polish foods including Żurek, Bigos, Poppyseed Cake, Mazurski Cheese, and traditionally fermented Pickels. My Polish brother will help with the history of the dishes while I taste these traditional Polish Foods. There are many people of Polish origin or descent in Canada and in Quebec so Polish foods are a part of the Quebec food landscape. And Jewish immigrants from Poland have also brought the Polish and Jewish food traditions to the area.
