Jodie def reminds me of Peter Cushing when he was the Doctor in that she is def putting in her A game but it just doesn't really work (for me at least). She always felt like drama was more her forte whereas the role of the Doctor requires a wider range. At the same time though I can see the makings of a great Doctor in Jodie that just never got realized and then the story happened, and really she became less important in her own era as Chibnall throws more lore than character and it did come to a head in Power of the Doctor where her Doctor is just overshadowed by everything else.
