Unique plants endemic to cloud forests at San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers. San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers has a large collection of plants from cloud forests (highland tropics) around the world. Here you will find epiphytic orchids and bromeliads growing on tree trunks. Cloud forests currently make up only 1% of the earth's woodland yet it is rich in plant diversity. Unfortunately, this ecosystem is vanishing fast due to climate change and deforestation.
